If You Ever Change Your Mind
Hi, I’m BLANKS, aka Simon de Wit. I’m from the Netherlands and you can always wake me up for a slice of pizza. I don’t really know why I love making music so much. I love the process of writing a song, finding the right sounds to give it the right feel, and the technical part of mixing and mastering it as good as possible. I’ve always been playing music. I started out on the guitar when I was about 11 years old. I learned myself how to play ukulele and took some singing lessons. When I was about 16 years old, I started writing my own songs. Currently I’m taking piano lessons, and learning more about music theory. I thaught myself how to produce. By watching A LOT of YouTube videos and reading about all the technical aspects, I learned just enough to be able to record my own songs and make them sound just a little bit better :). I’m still learning new things everyday though! I’m not really trying to make music in a specific genre, although I think most of my songs are considered pop music. I like all sorts
